The Boulder Junction Public Library's Children's After-School Reading Program will be held on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45 pm at the Boulder Junction Community Center beginning Tuesday, October 3. This year's theme is "Get a Clue @ Your Library." Each week will include stories, along with art projects, games, or other activities. We will also have a snack (nut-free) to begin the program. The program is aimed at children in 4-year-old kindergarten through sixth grade, but everyone is welcome to come. School-age children can take the bus to the library if they give the school a note. The bus to take is NL32. The Reading Program will begin at about 3:45 pm when the bus arrives and run until 4:45 pm. An adult must accompany children who are under 4 years old. Every child who participates must fill out a permission slip and turn it into the library no later than the first day of the program. Forms will be available at the library, at the school and here. Advance registration is recommended, but not required. If you have any questions, please call the library at 715-385-2050.
