Bill lived in Illinois for most of his adult life before he came to his senses and moved up to Rhinelander. He is thrilled to be working with the amazing volunteers and staff of WXPR. He is looking forward to helping to maintain and grow WXPR’s voice in the communities it serves, and to occasionally guest host a new or music show.

Bill has a son and a daughter, who while living in Illinois and California, listen to WXPR whenever they can. When he isn’t at the station, Bill likes to hike, kayak, cook and listen to live music.

Bill wants to hear from anyone who has thoughts or ideas about WXPR. Thank you for your interest in our special station!

The Rhinelander Mayoral Candidate Forum was held Wednesday night, hosted by the Northwoods Tobacco Free Coalition and Northwoods Community Outreach Prevention and Education (COPE). Both host organizations and audience members asked questions.

As the only candidate officially running for mayor of the City of Rhinelander, Alex Young did most of the talking.
