AAA Wisconsin is out with a new website designed to help travelers compare gas prices as they travel.
Gasprices.aaa.com is a type of one-stop shop for consumers says AAA spokesperson Nick Jarmusz....
"....that can be used by either the media or consumers to check out what the average prices are in their area and compare it to the averages from previous days, previous weeks, a month up to a year ago...."
Jarmusz gives an example...
"....if you're planning a road trip you can see where gas prices are at in the areas you're driving through so you can plot out when would be a good time to stop and fill up for gas in the cheaper areas...."
Jarmusz says other features include an interface that resizes between desktop, mobile and tablet devices for improved usability, an interactive U.S. map showcasing the current national average and state averages upon mouse-over, and click-through to individual state pages with metro data. Interactive state and national average comparisons by location and fuel type and other features.
