The four and a half hour search for a missing 87-year-old Arbor Vitae woman has come to a close. The Vilas County Sheriff Department reports Ardyce Koski was found near the shoreline of Vandercook Lake around 5:30 Tuesday morning.
Deputies report that Koski lost her way while on a walk. She was last seen by a neighbor Monday night walking down Snyder Road. The neighbor noticed around midnight that Koski still had not returned. Her dog was barking and her house doors were unlocked with the interior lights still on.
Police found Koski kneeled down by a tree where she waited for searchers. Koski was transported to Howard Young Medical Center where she is listed in good condition.
