Art Fair, Car Show, Bikes & Burgers This Weekend In Rhinelander

Wisconsin Dept. of Tourism

One of the main events in Rhinelander is Saturday as art, cars, motorcycles and burgers all combine under the umbrella of "Art Fair On the Courthouse Lawn".

The Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce leads the 32nd Art Fair on the Oneida County Courthouse lawn. Chamber spokesperson Lauren Sackett talks about the Art Fair...

"...we have booths, including art exhibitors, jewelry, pottery, metal, photography, music by the Rhinelander Community Band, from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon). There are also a lot of food vendors including the Rhinelander Lions Club and various food trucks from the surrounding area..."

The Art Fair is on the courthouse lawn and along Davenport Street.

Behind the courthouse on Baird Avenue is the Second Saturday in June Rhinelander Car Show as Sackett describes...

"...We also host, with the Rhinelander Car Show, which is on Baird Avenue. which is behind the courthouse. They have their cars lined up behind the courthouse and the Art Fair is in front of the courthouse. We really do feed off each other's crowds..."

Those events are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine.

Two blocks west of the courthouse Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. hosts the Bikes and Burgers event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorcycles will line the streets of downtown Rhinelander. You're invited to bring your own cycle to display. Trophies will be presented. Downtown restaurants will be grilling burgers along the main streets, along with live music.

Sackett says depending on weather, the events usually bring in 3,000-5,000 visitors to downtown Rhinelander.
