One of Eagle River's oldest events is set for Saturday.
The 41st Artarama is set for Riverside Park from 9 to 3 p.m.
Event chair Lori Hahn says Artarama is geared toward more of a fine art show than a craft show...
"....the public will see more than 100 artists in their booths and the mediums range from pottery to metal sculptures, they have many woodworkers from small items to big furniture..."
They also have photography, fused glass and jewelry. Participants are judged in the morning....
"...we use two judges and they walk around and judge each artist on their booth presentation and the quality of their work. There are four awards of excellence, ribbons and $200 dollars given out and there are four honorable mention winners also..."
Winners are invited back next year. More information is online at artarama-er. com
