A closing reception for three area artists is set for Saturday night at Nicolet College before the WXPR concert. The reception features the works of Rhinelander artists Jaron Childs, an oil painter, and Benjamin Tatrow , a photographer. The third artist is Craig Pilecky from Antigo, a photographer.
Gallery Director Katy Ralph says the artists will be on hand Saturday evening to meet the public and talk about their works...
"...we are having a closing exhibit. The exhibit is Jaron Childs, an oil painter from Rhinelander, Benjamin Tatro, a photographer from Rhinelander, and Craig Pilecky, a photographer from Antigo. Each of them have different visions. The reception is a meet and greet with the artists and we'll have refreshments. It's fun to take a last look at the art on the walls before it's gone..."
The reception begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:00 p.m. at the Gallery in the LRC building. There is no charge for that event. A few steps away at 7:30 p.m. WXPR will host the band "Primitive Culture" in concert. For the WXPR concert, tickets are still available by going on the WXPR website.
