Three events are taking place in and near downtown Rhinelander Saturday and promoters are expecting big crowds.
The annual Art Fair on the Courthouse lawn is being held on and near the grounds of the Oneida County Courthouse, the 20th annual Rhinelander Car Show is downtown, as is a first-year event, Bikes and Burgers, a motorcycle, food and music gathering sponsored by Downtown Rhinelander, Incorporated.
Chamber of Commerce Director Maggie Steffen says there will be much to see...
"....on the Chamber side we are holding the 31st annual Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn, sponsored by Drs. Fosters and Smith, CoVantage Credit Union and Park City Credit Union. We are literally running out of space to put our exhibitors. The other thing that has happened is the Second Saturday in June Car Show is now under the Chamber umbrella. They're going to be, as they were last year, on the other side of the courthouse, so they will be with us as well...."
Steffen says at the Art Fair is a wide variety of items available.
The Rhinelander Community Band will also be there. The Bikes and Burgers event will have motorcycles on display and restaurants will be featuring hamburgers as part of the event, with music by the Chillbillies in the afternoon. The downtown paving work has been halted for this weekend.
