Teams of couch potato enthusiasts will race through downtown Rhinelander in the YMCA of the Northwoods' inaugural Couch Potato Race. The event will be held in conjunction with Rhinelander's PotatoFest celebration August 31. Laurie Schlitt, the Y's Interim CEO said there are 10 teams entered. WXPR is one of them.
Brown Street between Davenport and Anderson will become the race track Saturday morning. 10:00 am is the time you can see the teams race and cheer for your favorite. And if you capture some interesting photos or videos, pass them along by email. We'll be looking for good shots to share online after the event.
