If you can’t make it to Cranberry Fest in Eagle River this weekend, you can head up to Cran-A-Rama in Manitowish Waters.
Kicking off Saturday at 9am, the event will feature cranberry cooking contests, indoor and outdoor arts and crafts fair and free fall color pontoon cruises. Chamber Director Sara Pischer says it’s a yearly event for people to come together and celebrate a Wisconsin tradition…
“…The cranberry marsh tours start here at the community center and we get you out on a school bus and take you out to Cranberry Square which is our local cranberry gift store and it’s located right on Vilas Cranberry Company’s marsh where you’ll see them out in the action.”
Pischer says the cruises are an hour long and run from 9 to 2:30.
The event is October 1, from 9am to 3 at the Community Center in Manitowish Waters.
