Oneida County Health Department officials say water samples collected from the Crescent Town Spring this week were negative for coliform bacteria, so officials have dropped a boiled water advisory. The spring is in the town of Crescent just west of Rhinelander.
Officials say the water from the spring will be sampled in one month to ensure the chlorination and disinfection process was successful.
The spring had been closed one other time this summer as a precaution.
