Downtown Rhinelander Hosting Property Open House
Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. is hosting its second open house Saturday morning(5/17) for people interested in looking at available downtown real estate and buildings.
Executive Director Maggie Steffen says the idea is a type of one-stop shopping if you're looking for a property for a business....
".....maybe they have their business in their home and they want to branch out and get it in a public sector or maybe they have a second business in a surrounding community and they think they should have one in Rhinelander. It's a day they can come in and look at all the properties that Rhinelander has to offer...."
Representatives will be available from 10:30 until noon....
"....you can start at the DRI office which is at 26 North Brown. That is where you can pick up a map and all the other information. Then you can go around and all the other places that are participating have a poster on their doors. There will be a representative(there), you can go inside, you can look at the property, you can get information, you can ask questions...."
Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. and the city of Rhinelander are in the planning process for a downtown reconstruction including new underground infrastructure and a street-level renovation called the "Streetscape".
