A crash north of Rhinelander killed 23 year old passenger Jacob Juedes this weekend. The Oneida County Sherriff's office says it happened just after midnight, early on Saturday morning, when a vehicle struck a power pole on River Road in the town of Pine Lake.
Preliminary investigation indicates alcohol was allegedly involved.
The Sheriff's office says 20 year old Randal Lego was driving the vehicle. He was transported to Ministry St. Mary's Hospital for injuries, and arrested for operating while intoxicated. Additional charges may be pending.
