An unoccupied barn in the Town of Phelps burned yesterday.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Department reports they were called at 11:15 a.m. to the blaze at 3434 Arbour Court. When first responders arrived the barn was fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Several emergency response teams were on the scene, including Phelps Fire and EMS, and fire departments from Conover, St. Germain, Land O' Lakes and Watersmeet, Michigan.
