10 free bands will be on the shore of North Twin Lakes in Phelps Friday and Saturday. Proceeds will benefit youth activities and bring music fans to downtown Phelps.
Chamber of Commerce Director Celeste Hendrickson.....
"....two days of live music on North Twin Lake, can't ask for a better setting. The funds will help the youth recreation in Phelps. They have great programs for the youth, from T-Ball, softball, soccer...just a great program...."
Hendrickson says proceeds from concessions and other sales will benefit the youth programs. She also says it's an opportunity for people visiting to stop by a music event in downtown Phelps free of charge. She says all the bands are donating their time.
Hendrickson says the public is invited....
"....the music is going to start at 6 p.m. Friday and go until midnight and then pick back up on Saturday at 11 a.m. and play until midnight. With the finishing act one of our local bands, Sliver...."
