Giving New Life to Difficult Pets

Pete Markham

Oneida County Humane Society is hosting an event to show how dogs and cats given a second chance can become good pets and maybe get adopted.

The program is in conjunction with the McNaughton Correction Center in Lake Tomahawk. Organizer Maggie Hogan talks to News Director Ken Krall about the program.

Saturday's  demonstration will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Trig's Mall in Minocqua. There will also be a small bake sale to raise money for for the shelter. If you wish to bake something for the sale, items can be dropped off Friday afternoon at the shelter on Stevens Street in Rhinelander.
