Two people are dead after a head-on crash in Boulder Junction.
The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department received a 9-1-1 call around 6:50 Tuesday night reporting an accident in the area of County Hwy M.
Preliminary investigation indicates one vehicle crossed the center line.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other driver was taken to Howard Young Medical Center, but was later pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation by the Vilas County Sheriff’s Department.
Names have not been released.
