High Winds Cause Northwoods Power Outages

Saturday evening more than 3300 Wisconsin Public Service customers were without power caused by high winds.

Wisconsin Public Service has an outagewebpage that showed more than 1,000 Rhinelander area customers were without power.

Traffic lights were observed to be off in the city's main section and several stores were closed.

Elsewhere, nearly 900 customers were without power in the Eagle River area and 300 in Lake Tomahawk.
