Rhinelander is gearing up for home improvement season with the Hodag Home show this weekend.
Rhinelander Chamber Director Dana DeMet says it’s a chance to consult with experts and see a variety of product options.
“Anybody who owns a home here in the Northwoods knows that there’s a very short season in which we can get a lot of our projects done. So we like to schedule this near the end of the winter season, so that people can get on their calendar for a lot of these projects that are coming up.”
DeMet says local business will be there exhibiting construction materials, appliances, and other home refurbishments.
“Guttering is usually an improvement that people are looking to make on their home, season in, season out. So we’ll have a few people there where you can find seamless gutter solutions, as well as heating and cooling. So that goes pretty much hand in hand with insulation, and heating and cooling aspects of the home.”
DeMet says it’s a chance for people to price out options or get inspired about different ways to do a project.
Prospective home buyers can also find advice from financial consultants and lending experts.
The Hodag Home Show is 10-4 on Saturday and 10-3 Sunday at Rhinelander High School.
Admission is free and enters you into a raffle.
