Hodag Home Show Set For March

Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce

One of the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce's signature events is approaching and the Chamber's new Director is hoping for a good turnout.

The Hodag Home Show is designed to put people wanting information about home services face-to-face with companies in the region who could help them. Bill Clow took over as Executive Director a few weeks ago. He lists some of the organizations already signed up...

"....we have contractors coming out, we have banks, we have anything to do with the home, inside or out, We have landscapers come in. With fill the high school auditorium, the gym, and a couple other rooms. It's really a good opportunity. It's free for people to come and visit...."

The show will be one day this year, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m....

".....we shortened it to one day, it's been two days in the past. In surveying our participants, both exhibitors and visitors, we felt that one day was really the way to go. That means that that Saturday will be much busier because everything will be concentrated on one day.."

Clow says the show is a low-key way to find out information. He says often exhibitors have show deals the day of the event.

Other activities include door prizes, exhibitor demonstrations, children and family activities, food, and arts and craft vendors. The deadline to signup as a vendor is February 19.
