A Manitowoc man charged with 13 counts of Possession of Child Pornography has reached a plea bargain with the state in Forest County Circuit Court.
55 year old John Lang was charged nearly a year ago after a state Department of Justice investigation.
The criminal complaint says Lang allegedly kept images of children engaging in explicit sexual conduct. The charges stem from May, 2007 in the town of Wabeno.
The investigation began with an individual in Arkansas that led investigators to Lang by checking internet connections.
Lang will enter guilty pleas to at least seven counts.
Lang will be sentenced in January. State Assistant Attorney General Michael Schaefer led the prosecution.
In Vilas county, no resolution in a court case involving an Eagle River man charged with attempted first-degree homicide of a pregnant woman.
28 year old Andrew Lee Rosner is also charged with attempted homicide on her unborn child.
Rosner was arrested last February. Public records indicate a woman was stabbed in a car. She drove herself to the hospital for treatment.
During a hearing in Eagle River, the court set a January trial date for Rosner. He is jailed on a $50,000 cash bond.
