Oneida county and regional law enforcement officials report nearly 20 new arrests this week for drug-related crimes. This follows another large number of drug-related arrests earlier this week in Forest county.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office and the Northcentral Drug Enforcement Group made the nineteen arrests as part of a continued investigation.
Most charges relate to possession and distribution of methamphetamines and prescription drugs. Other charges include child abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Oneida county officials say additional arrests are expected.
Earlier this week 16 people were arrested as part of another large-scale drug sting in Forest County.
The Rhinelander Police Department, the Oneida County Department of Social Services, and the Oneida County District Attorney's Office also participated in the investigation.
