A garage is a total loss after a fire Friday afternoon in Manitowish Waters.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Department reports the emergency call came in of a fire at 4840 Alder Circle. When responders arrived the garage was fully engulfed.
The fire appears to have started from a lightning strike. No injuries were reported.
The Manitowish Waters Fire and EMS, Winchester and Boulder Junction Fire Departments along with the Sheriff's Department responded to the scene.
