Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch has put out an invitation for Northwoods businesses to attend the one-day Governor's Small Business Summit later this month in Rothschild.

Kleefisch says the day will show small business owners how to get resources like social media to help them including legal help.

The state cabinet members will be there along with Governor Scott Walker...

"....what we've done is taken all of that plus more, boiled them down into one day's programming and we're giving it to our small business owners for fifty bucks, including breakfast and lunch with Governor Scott Walker and great opportunities to network with our cabinet secretaries because all of our cabinet secretaries that touch small business will be there...."

She says one key discussion is how local businesses can benefit from the likely to be signed Foxconn deal with the state.

The deadline to register is Friday. The Governor's Small Business Summit is September 26 at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Rothschild. Kleefisch says you can register online.

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development website is one place  where you can register or go to Wisconsin.gov and put in Small Business Summit. We have a linkhere.
