Man Who Allegedly Fled Police Identified

Oneida County Sheriff's Department

A man wanted for outstanding warrants was arrested Monday afternoon after he allegedly fled a stop by county and city law enforcement.

The Sheriff's Department reports Oneida County deputies and Rhinelander Police attempted to stop Gabriel Bell for outstanding warrants. Bell was in Rhinelander and when the stop was attempted, allegedly fled. Bell traveled down a dirt road until his vehicle got stuck between Davenport and Kemp Streets. A short time later he was taken into custody at the AmericInn on Kemp Street.

Bell is being held on the outstanding warrants, fleeing from law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia.
