McReynolds Achieves Top Facilitator Certificate

A Northwoods environmental education leader has achieved a rare certification.


Dr. Corky McReynolds....Director at UW-Stevens Point Treehaven near Tomahawk has been certified by the International Association of Facilitators as as a Certified Professional Facilitator....

"....I learned that there are maybe one or two other people in the state of Wisconsin that have achieved this goal and I have also learned that I would be the only person in the University of Wisconsin System that has become a Certified Professional Facilitator..."


 


A facilitator is someone who helps a group of people understand their common objectives and assists them to plan to achieve them without taking a particular position in the discussion.


McReynolds says for many years it was a function of his work that he enjoyed doing. He works with groups in the natural resources area.
