A car-motorcycle crash east of Eagle River Thursday morning sent a driver to Wausau for treatment of injuries.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Department reports about 8:30 a.m., a car driven by a 22 year old man was westbound on state Highway 70 in the town of Washington. The car driver was reported as making a left hand turn into a gas station. A 55 year old eastbound motorcycle driver collided with the car and was ejected from the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver was taken by helicopter to Wausau Aspirus Hospital. The extent of injuries are unknown at this time. The driver of the car was not transported for injuries.
No names have been released and the crash remains under investigation.
