The name of the person killed in a traffic crash Tuesday has been released.
Vilas County Sheriff's Department reports 17 year old Michael John of Eagle River was the driver of a vehicle that hit a tree at the intersection of State Highway 155 and West Lost Lake Drive in St. Germain.
Deputies report the preliminary investigation found the vehicle was traveling southbound on STH 155 when it crossed the northbound lane and went into the east ditch where it struck a tree. No one else was in the vehicle.
