Pre-registration is open for a new bike ride that starts at a Brewery and travels to a Winery. The first annual Septimber bike ride takes places September 12. Bikers begin at the Tribute Brewing Company and ride to the Three Lakes Winery via the Three Eagle Trail.
It’s a 13 mile ride, with the option of doing a round-trip for 26 miles.
Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce director Kim Emerson says that funds from this bike ride go to support increased biking options in years to come. “The funds will go to building future trails here in the Easter Vilas County area. So it could be a part of the Conover, Phelps, Land O ’Lakes, Eagle River, St Germain.”
Beer and wine tastings are included in the registration price. The 9-to-noon bike ride wraps up with brat picnic with all the fixings as well as door prizes. Pre-register by August 1st by phone 800-359-6315 or on the web at www.eagleriver.org/featured/september-ride
