With unemployment rates in the Northwoods near or at double-digits, a Job Fair is being held Wednesday, April 22 in Rhinelander.
Several partners including related stage agencies, non-profits and Nicolet College are hosting the Spring Job Fair at the Quality Inn from 10 to 3 p.m.
Spokesperson Joan Hartmann says the Fair is free and open to anyone interested in looking for work. She says they have at least 23 companies signed up...
"...talk to employers about job openings they have possibly future job openings, and talk to employers about what future skills they're looking for, what types of training that they might need..."
She says applicants should come well dressed and with a current resume. Hartmann says they have an area where applicants can sit and fill out applications. There's also a room where a potential employer can talk to an applicant about a job.
