Friday's snow will give way to thoughts of spring which usually means fixing up around the house.
The season's first home and lifestyle show in the Northwoods is Saturday at Rhinelander high school sponsored by the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber spokesperson Lauren Sackett says local vendors will provide options for home owners...
"....we have exhibitors from all sorts of trade. There are docks companies, heating and cooling, roofing builders, electrical. We also have a lot of the lifestyle-related vendors, financial, healthcare, cleaning your home, craft items...all sorts of stuff you'll be able to find...."
Sackett says browsing might lead to a project down the road...
"....you might not be looking to do a project this year, maybe a couple of years from now but you can get ideas for what you want to do. The local AMVETS Post will have burgers, pulled pork and hot dogs they'll be selling. A local Girl Scouts troop will be staffing their cookie booth throughout the show. There's lots of stuff you can do...."
The show is free and is open Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
