The Oneida County Economic Development Corporation has named a new Executive Director.
O.C.E.D.C President Mike Gibbons announced Stacey Johnson of Arbor Vitae has been named to the position.
Johnson began her career in the early 2000's in Florida, with a background in banking, residential and commercial lending, compliance and domestic and international business development. She moved to Wausau for a job that worked in community and economic development.
Recently, Johnson has been working with Northwoods non-profits and foundations on multiple large-scale development projects.
Johnson succeeds long-time Executive Director Roger Luce who is retiring this month. Oneida County Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit that receives funding from Oneida county, the City of Rhinelander and private businesses.
A 17-member board oversees the operation. Besides Gibbons, board officers include Oneida County Board Chair and President-Elect David Hintz, Secretary Brad Kowieski and Treasurer Andy Cordova. Offices are in the lower level of the Rhinelander/Oneida County Airport.
