Music, dancing, and good food are just some of what Oneida County fair attendees can look forward to.
The fair opens tomorrow evening at 5 and is open Friday through Saturday 10am to 11pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm. County Fair Coordinator, Nancy Gehrig says there’s a lot of new events at this year’s fair.
“In our family land area we have the Home Depot is coming to build a project in that area, The YMCA is part of the family land area, the Amazing Zach-Man Magician is going to be part over in the Family Land area. We have an American Indian dance exhibition on Thursday evening from 5:30 until 7pm…”
Gehrig says Fisher’s Resort is hosting a fish fry at the fair on Friday evening from 4 to 7 as a fundraiser for the fair.
She says the fair is still looking for volunteers to welcome visitors at the entrance gates. Gehrig says they’re primarily looking for teens and adults, but families are welcome to volunteer as well.
Those interested in volunteering can sign up on the Oneida County Fair’s website.
