Open House For Available Downtown Rhinelander Properties Saturday

Downtown Rhinelander Incorporated

Downtown Rhinelander, Incorporated is hosting a real estate open house so people with an interest in having space downtown can see available properties. This is the fourth year for the open house.

DRI President Dan Kuzlik says the idea a type of one-stop-shop where interested entrepreneurs get to see available properties...

".....we contact property owners who have their properties in downtown Rhinelander for sale or for lease. We get their permission, get their keys and we promote them...”

Kuzlik says this type of showing takes away the pressure that is often the case when others are involved. He says there could be an increased value to getting those properties during construction...

".....with all the construction downtown, probably the price points of some of those properties are going to be at their lowest. Yet once the beautification comes in, new sidewalks, new lighting, benches, new street, new infrastructure, those property values should increase...."

The event is set for Saturday, May 21 from 10:30 until noon.

Kuzlik says those interested can pick up a map at DRI headquarters on Davenport Street. He says those interested in a property can ask a DRI volunteer to open the property for them.

He says the Streetscape construction shouldn't be a problem, though due to the uncertainty about the construction schedule, he says to come in the back door of the DRI offices through the Associated Bank rear parking lot. More information is available by calling 715-362-7374.
