No foul play is suspected in the death last Friday(1/2/2015) of an Oshkosh woman found naked in downtown Presque Isle.
Vilas County Sheriff Joe Fath reports pending lab and toxicology reports, the death of 61 year old Corrine Gerster of Oshkosh was from natural causes. Fath says no foul play is suspected.
Fath says they think a dog that the victim was escorting home may have attempted to move, drag or wake the victim. He says in trying to revive Gerster, the dog tugged at the clothing causing it to rip away. Fath says the marks and injuries observed were made after Gerster had died.
