Two leaders in the court battle to change Wisconsin's legislative and Congressional districts will be in Woodruff Saturday.
Northwoods Progressives have invited Bill Whitford,retired law professor and lead plaintiff in a federal lawsuit challenging the district maps in Wisconsin, and Doug Poland, who helped lead the legal team that won the federal case that is now expected to head to the US Supreme Court over alleged gerrymandering. Both men are part of the Fair Elections Project.
The event begins at 1:00 p.m. at Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Peggy's Lane in Woodruff. They will have a potluck lunch and break out sessions.
