Rhinelander District Library Hosts Spring Book-Gift Sale

Natalie Jablonski WXPR

The Rhinelander District Library is hosting a sale this weekend to help fund the operation and its Director says there are some great deals to be had.

Director Virginia Roberts talks about the sale starting Thursday...

"....Thursday afternoon the Friends of the Library are hosting a pre-sale for just their members. You can get memberships at the door for $10. We have some great things in the sale..all kinds of brand new and nearly new hardcovers and paperbacks. We have some new T-shirts, this year's edition...we have some handmade goods, from quilts to bags. Those will be available starting Thursday. Friday and Saturday we have the book sale open to the public. 9-5 on Friday and 9-12 noon on Saturday...."

She says there's histories, biographies, fiction, art books, cookbooks and more. She says the money goes to fund the library and as the Friends group grows, it will benefit their efforts.

Roberts says there are a number of programs coming up that the public can find out about at the sale.
