The finalists for the vacant Rhinelander Chief of Police position is down to three.
The confirmed finalists are Rhinelander Police Interim Chief Ron Lueneburg, Oneida County Sheriff's Department Captain Lloyd Gauthier, and Dave Funkhouser, the Police Chief from Kiel, Wisconsin.
Final interviews are set for next week. The community will also have a chance to meet the candidates.
Gauthier was an officer with Rhinelander Police before moving over the sheriff's department.
