Shannon Wolf Bound Over For Trial On Homicide Charges

Oneida County Sheriff's Department

A cold case that resulted in homicide charges against a former husband and wife continues for both of them.

Oneida County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bloom determined there was enough evidence to continue proceedings against 40 year old Shannon Wolf, currently in the Wisconsin prison system.

In 2003, the body of Kenneth Wells of Rhinelander was found in the Wisconsin River in Rhinelander about 100 yards from the Davenport Street bridge. After an autopsy, it was ruled a probable drowning. The case remained cold until more information came to Rhinelander Police. Last month, Wolf's ex-wife Latoya was arrested as an alleged party to the murder of Wells.

?

Friday morning, Rhinelander Detective Sergeant Joshua Chiamulera testified to what Latoya Wolf told another police detective what she allegedly witnessed the night of Wells' death.. Chiamulera is being questioned by District Attorney Michael Schiek...

"....(DA Schiek)..do you know what information she(Latoya) brought forward to Detective Pudlowski at that time?(Chiamulera)..at that time she had indicated that her(ex)husband Shannon Wolf had killed Ken Wells..."
