SOA at Rhinelander To Change Format In 2015

UW-Madison Continuing Studies

A change in format for School of the Arts at Rhinelander. Director Lynn Tarnoff announced the 2015 program will run Friday through Sunday July 17 through the 19 only. Previously the program had run a week.

Tarnoff says a key reason is what appears to be a changing lifestyle of participants, geared more toward a weekend format...

"....we looked at the change in our attendee and with the success of adding the weekend option only we have some growing interest for a weekend program versus a five day..."

Last summer the school celebrated 51 years of bringing the arts to Rhinelander each July. Tarnoff says enrollments have been slowly dropping since a high point about 15 years ago, but she says  they're keeping  the popular visual arts, culinary, body mind and spirit, performing arts and writing. 40 classes will run with longer classes each day.

Tarnoff says go to their website by using your search engine and typing in School of the Arts at Rhinelander and finding out more information on the changes.
