Suspect Booked In Woodruff Armed Robbery

Authorities continue to investigate an armed robbery in Woodruff Sunday night. One suspect is in custody.
Woodruff Police report getting a call that the Krist Gas station on Elm Street was robbed about 8:15 p.m. Police report an African American male, near 30 years old , allegedly demanded money and was given an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot.

About two hours later, police were called to Trig's Plaza in Minocqua after a man matching the description of the suspect was seen. The suspect was taken into custody. Officers from Woodruff and Minocqua police, Vilas and Oneida county sheriff, Wisconsin State Patrol and K-9 units from Lac du Flambeau and Rhinelander responded to the scene.

The suspect is in the Oneida county jail.
