Wednesday is the 45th annual Earth Day and the same day is the 6th annual Sustainability Fair.

This year the Fair has a new location but organizers say it still focuses on celebrating  services and practices that are good for the Earth.

Spokesperson Marc DeBrock says the effort began as a way to show how all of us can do things that's better long term...

'...just have a place where people can engage in discussion on a local level here. What you can do in your lives to be more sustainable...."

DeBrock says a number of vendors will be talking about their efforts...

"....high performance home builders, passive home builders, to local organic food programs, People who are doing meat, poultry and vegetables, silent sports programs and local (Native American) tribes and their sustainable initiatives...."

The fair will run from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Newbold town hall, about 7 miles north of Rhinelander on Highway 47. Music starts at 4 p.m. and a roundtable discussion on a variety of topics begins at 5:30 p.m.  The event is free and has food available.
