Three Lakes will be holding their 5th Annual Northwoods Heritage Fest this Sunday at Cy (sigh) Williams Park from 10am to 7pm. Executive Director of the Three Lakes Chamber of Commerce Skip Brunswick says the event is a celebration of the heritages of the Northwoods.
“It’s our 5th year and basically what we do is we’re celebrating various heritages here in the Northwoods. German, Italian, Polish, and of course American USA. And we have food and cuisine from all of those countries. We have imported and domestic beers...we have live entertainment that goes on all day long.”
Brunswick says the entertainment includes the L’il Teddy Polka Band, Northwoods duo Bret and Frisk, a parade of flags and an Irish Dance group from Milwaukee. The Tavern League will be holding a bean bag toss competition as well.
Admission to the festival is free and will be going on rain or shine.
