Two snowmobile accidents within 30 minutes of each other were reported in Vilas county Friday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Department reports a crash about noon off trail 10 in the St. Germain area. A 47 year old man from Rochelle, Illinois struck a tree and was injured. About a half-hour later, an emergency call came in that a 44 year old woman from Frankfurt, Illinois struck a tree on trail 13 in the Conover area and was injured. Both persons from the crashes were taken to Eagle River Memorial Hospital for their injuries.
Several EMS units responded to both crashes.
