A Saturday afternoon crash in the Oneida county town of Nokomis has killed an Ironwood motorcyclist and sent the driver of the second vehicle to a hospital.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Department reports getting a call shortly after 5 p.m. of a car/motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 51 south of county "L". The motorcycle driver who died at the scene was 47 year old Kevin Chiapuzio, of Ironwood, Michigan..
Highway 51 was closed while law enforcement investigated the scene.
