One person died, two others injured from a Thursday traffic crash in Vilas county.
Officials were called to Rummels Road in the town of Conover during the noon hour. A car collided with a motor home. A 42 year old Land O Lakes woman was killed. Vilas Sheriff's officials say her car attempted a U-Turn, striking a motor home driven by an Eagle River couple. The car driver and a couple in the motor home from Eagle River were taken to a hospital in Eagle River where the Land O Lakes woman died. The couple were treated an released. The accident tied up traffic on U.S. 45 while the scene was cleared.
The name of the victim will be released later.
