The Wounded Warriors in Action will be holding their 3nd Annual Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge on the Eagle River, Chain of Lakes this weekend.

Lieutenant Colonel(retired) John McDaniel founded Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation in 2007 and established its headquarters in Apollo Beach, Florida. A retired Army officer, McDaniel started taking a few Wounded Warriors out on hunting and fishing trips, but quickly saw that the need for g was greater than he could support on his own.
In 2009 , the organization was granted non-profit status.
