An Arbor Vitae woman charged with embezzling more than $30,000 from Northwoods Animal Hospital in Minocqua has entered a no contest plea in Oneida County Court.
48 year old Brenda Wigglesworth entered the plea to one count of theft from a business setting of more than $10,000. Wigglesworth is accused of taking the money while she was employed as the bookkeeper and office manager. Minocqua Police began investigating in 2013. She entered a not guilty plea last July.
Judge Patrick O'Melia entered a guilty plea and ordered a pre-sentence investigation and scheduled formal sentencing for August 12. Wigglesworth remains free on bond.
