Worker Falls to His Death in Mosinee

A contractor from Merrill fell about 25-feet to his death while installing insulation at a paper mill in Mosinee.  It happened yesterday morning at Expera Specialty Solutions, a former Wausau Paper facility.  Authorities said a 55-year-old man was working alone on a lift for about two hours, when he fell from a hydraulic bucket outside the building.  He was employed by Taylor Insulation of Merrill.  An Expera spokeswoman said the worker had completed mandatory training which includes measures to guard against falling.  The man's name was not immediately released.
