The YMCA of the Northwoods will be hosting an indoor farmer's market beginning October 24.
Membership Director Dan Delisle says the "Y" and Northwoods LEAN--linking education, activity, nutrition--are sponsoring the market. He says the market will go on all winter...
".....we currently have five vendors selling locally grown products and produce. Ranging from chicken eggs, root crops, locally grown produce. Items ranging from chicken eggs, frozen chickens, roots, crops, mixed vegetables, apples, jams, jellies, salsa, pickles, honey, homemade breads, goat cheese...."
Delisle says the market will run as long as there are products to sell. The Indoor Farmer's Market will be held Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
